The lecture starts at 7:30 and will include an interval.

Did u know only 25% of ppl listening to BigFinish actually pay? Or that a Boxset costs at least £50,000 to produce. Or that it can up to 2 years on some ranges for BigFinish to just recover the costs of the production (that’s a very long time to wait to make a profit). Or that 90% of UK actors and writers earn minimum wage (£20,000 per year). And that they depend on residuals for their income (% of the sale price).
That’s why every little bit really does count. I totally understand not being able to afford $14.99. But even me, a long term sickness beneficiary, can find £4 . So why not support this amazing pepduction, in particular, the amazing creative ppl who brought us so much joy. I mean, surely we all agree that everyone deserves to get paid for their hard work? I’m sure you wouldn’t like to have us boss say sorry I can’t pay you this month - none of our customers paid for their orders. They all stole everything instead. I’m no saint, I used to torrent 100% of BigFinish until I realised I was hurting real ppl.
I know ppl will flame me for saying these things. But hey why not simply do a very nice, small but vital thing and just buy 1 title? I’m certain the actors and writers would be incredibly grateful. It is how they pay their bills after all :)

Bazzalad, I don’t think anyone could flame you for your post. it completely reasonable! I try and buy stuff from Big Finish every couple of months when I can afford it. Its only fare.

Who knew that a Victorian Era crime solving duo could be so interesting? I love the Sci-fi caveat that separates them from Sherlock and Watson. This was a nice way to wrap up their storylines. Jago & Litefoot Forever.
p.s. they worked marvelously with the the newer series as well. The Strax story line was phenomenal.
