is a young (born 1993!) British writer, fan, and actor. He happens to do an EXCELLENT job in his impersonation of the late Patrick Troughton. Even better than Frazer Hines in Big Finish.
I have never been a huge fan of the Early Doctor Adventures, except for the Third Doctor. I think this is because of Big Finish’s odd refusal to replace the first two actors who played the Doctor with new actors and instead have very old companions voice their young personas AND the Doctor. No offense to Frazer Hines, but he is almost 80 years old. He just doesn’t sound like Jamie from the 1960s at ALL anymore. And, he does a passable version of the .
Thompson not only writes pretty good material, but he really sounds like the late Patrick Troughton! Big Finish should hire HIM!
Yes, these are “fan made”, which means a few people almost seem to get their knickers in a twist when I put them up. I don’t care. I think these are excellent, and hope you enjoy them as much as I have.
Let’s hope Christ Thompson makes more adventures!

Which Dark Shadows do you want? I have a lot of them. I fixed my copy of the Dark Shadows 2 a while a go, by the way. It sounds just fine now.

Yes, a very decent Troughton impersonation; I for one have never liked Hines’ version, Troughton didn’t clear his throat every 3 seconds!

I wish Big Finish would hire this kid to play the Second Doctor!
Christopher is releasing two more Doctor Who plays and them retiring his version of the Second Doctor. But, he is really active in fan fiction, having written one of the Ninth Doctor plays.
I imagine it is incredibly expensive to make these high quality fan made adventures! It isn’t just that they have a good Patrick Troughton impersonator, but the other actors are good as well.

Loving the these other Fan Made productions smythers1977! I downloaded a fan made “Doomwatch” production called “Survival Code” by Bandril Productions which is excellent. As I just happened up on this site I hope to figure things out and upload it one of these days.
Impressive collection on this site which I hope I can add to over time from my own audio collection I’ve amassed. Audiobookbay feels like a replacement for the old UK torrent site “RadioArchive”.
