EACH OF THESE EPISODES HAS ALSO BEEN NEWLY REMASTERED FROM MY ORIGINAL SOURCE MATERIALS FOR MUCH BETTER AUDIO QUALITY THAN THE PREVIOUS SET!!! Each of these shows is NON COPYRIGHTED and is currently in the PUBLIC DOMAIN!!!!!! 370+ Shows!!
This is the BEST Quality set of Lux Radio Theatre shows currently available ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!! Yet it is not the most Complete. For other low grade quality episodes you can look to other sets available here on archive.org…I started working on this Version 2.0 set in 2018 and have finally finished it. For the original Version 1.0 set, I spent many years tracking down these shows from MANY difference sources (Official Cassette, LP Vinyl, Digital etc) and enhancing shows that are of lower caliber quality so as to try to remove muffling, overblown sharp highs, enhance vocals, tighten bass, clean audio, fix hollow echo, remove hiss, pops, normalize volume level throughout the entire episode etc. On every episode I also normalized the audio levels of audience clapping throughout the episode and loud music portions to be very close to that of the actual performance instead of 4-5 times the volume.
ALL episodes in this collection are of Very Good, Excellent, or Perfect audio quality, I have done my very best to find ALL available good quality source material but it has been very difficult and arduous. I have intentional left out episodes which i could not restore to this Grade Quality.
Many Rare Shows Not Available Elsewhere!!! Episodes labeled (R) at the end of the title are either Rehearsal episodes or Replacement episodes ALL mp3 files are properly tagged and titled. MP3 metadata is also complete with artist, genre, album, album art etc so they will ALL properly show on ANY mp3 player or ipod

THERE ARE NO LONGER ANY "GOOD" LISTENABLE QUALITY EPISODES (with a couple exceptions as those episodes as so rare and classic that listenable is an achievement) EACH OF THESE EPISODES HAS ALSO BEEN NEWLY REMASTERED FROM MY ORIGINAL SOURCE MATERIALS FOR MUCH BETTER AUDIO QUALITY THAN THE PREVIOUS SET!!! Each of these shows is NON COPYRIGHTED and is currently in the PUBLIC DOMAIN!!!!!! 370+ Shows!! This is the BEST Quality set of Lux Radio Theatre shows currently available ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!! Yet it is not the most Complete. For other low grade quality episodes you can look to other sets available here on archive.org…I started working on this Version 2.0 set in 2018 and have finally finished it. For the original Version 1.0 set, I spent many years tracking down these shows from MANY difference sources (Official Cassette, LP Vinyl, Digital etc) and enhancing shows that are of lower caliber quality so as to try to remove muffling, overblown sharp highs, enhance vocals, tighten bass, clean audio, fix hollow echo, remove hiss, pops, normalize volume level throughout the entire episode etc. On every episode I also normalized the audio levels of audience clapping throughout the episode and loud music portions to be very close to that of the actual performance instead of 4-5 times the volume. ALL episodes in this collection are of Very Good, Excellent, or Perfect audio quality, I have done my very best to find ALL available good quality source material but it has been very difficult and arduous. I have intentional left out episodes which i could not restore to this Grade Quality. Many Rare Shows Not Available Elsewhere!!! Episodes labeled (R) at the end of the title are either Rehearsal episodes or Replacement episodes ALL mp3 files are properly tagged and titled. MP3 metadata is also complete with artist, genre, album, album art etc so they will ALL properly show on ANY mp3 player or ipod |

No they are not. I have listened to nearly all of them many times and never noticed any skipping issues on ALL THE PLAYS. Even if they were, you should not expect 2026 Digital HD Atmos quality given that these came from records nearly 75 years old. Do not post asinine comments please. Compare them with any other version available anywhere and there is no comparison in quality. Digital repairs would not cause skipping and stuttering. Please think before you comment in the future and given that it is FREE you have no complaint in any event. You could not have listened to every play in 24 hours anyhow
