Following the death of his father, the King of Denmark, young prince Hamlet returns home to find his mother married to his uncle: the late king’s brother, Claudius.
When Hamlet is later visited by the ghost of his father, he learns that the murderer was actually the King’s own brother and vows to take revenge. However, Hamlet’s contemplative nature works against him, breeding doubt and hesitation at every turn, until the only certainties he has left are madness, betrayal and murder…
Alexander Vlahos stars in this three-hour production of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedy.
This release also includes twenty-five minutes of roundtable interviews with the cast as they discuss the production.

Do you know this title costed BigFinish £25,000 to produce? Boxset cost twice that! It can take up to 2 years for them just to break even (recover their costs). Nobody’s getting rich at BigFinish. Or have you forgotten how the BBC’s AudioBook company : AudioGo (which was 20x bigger) went broke a few yrs ago, largely due to torrents. As a result, the BBC don’t produce any new AudioBooks or AudioDramas. If everyone doesn’t support BigFinish they could easily go the sane way = no more Doctor Who AudioBooks ever again.

If money’s an issue for you, like it is for me, did you know that 1-100 Monthly Releases now only cost $2.99 each or even cheaper get a subscription for $32, incl a Free $10.99 Title as well. Every week they offer new discounts, often 50% or more.
Or if that’s still to expensive for you do what I did - join Spotify as either a Premium or Free user. BigFinish very kindly offer 500+ AudioDrama titles there, incl Blake’s 7, Dark Shadows, and a selection of every Doctor Who range. At least this way the artists, the writers, actors etc earn a little bit of money for their hard work. Imagine getting to the end of the week and your boss says “sorry I can’t pay you this week as nobody paid for our work”? Do you know most UK actors and writers earn £20,000 or less per year.
