why m4b - most mp3 players cant read that kind of files…

I understand completely. Most of my uploads were mp3 for that reason. It’s universal format but most people use phones now.
Also, some people like chapterized files, some like a single file. M4b gives the best of both…a single file WITH chapters.
If you need to convert: Fre:ac audio converter is free and fast and easy to use. I’ve used it for so many years now and I’ve donated money to the developers. Give it a try, it’s a safe app.

I can get lots of books, including the ones you want, but you should join the forum because there you can request books from all those people and learn how to share your books. Often people just needs books “re-seeded” and that’s super easy to do. So you can be part of something great and get books you need.💖💖💖📚📚📚

Thank you SO much for using m4b. I’m so sick of people refusing to even look into getting any number of the MANY freeware players that easily play m4b. M4b are chapterized, they are in one file, they save your progress - they are superior in every way and practically every player plays them now-a-days. Please mp3 people - PLEASE - just do a tiny bit of research into players that handle them, because m4b’s are so much better than trying to juggle 80 million mp3 files. You rock, Dallis!!!

For mp3-to-m4b Choose File>Open>MP3 Processing.

Thanks Dallis24. Appreciate you sharing this with us. I just want to weigh in on the mp3 m4b debate. I use my mp3 player working round the farm with headphones on. I paid a lot of money for noise cancelling headphones and high quality mp3 player. They are working great. I am happy to convert from m4b and often have to but I never use itunes or apple iphones. I dont take my phone out around the farm as I dont get service away from the signal booster at the house. Just saying that some of us have legitimate reasons why we do things differently to others. Especially us old ones.

I totally understand.
To save you time converting, try renaming the audiobook file extension .m4b to .m4a
then it will likely play on your headphones (if .m4b won’t).
