These are the adventures of the Doctor in his 20th incarnation.
These are really the best fan made audio dramas out there right now. I really hope you enjoy them. They are very dark, about 90 minutes long each, and very professionally done.
The Doctor’s companion for these adventures is Maria, a former terrorist/freedom fighter. They really are quire enjoyable!
There are also a number of Minisodes included for Christmas and Halloween.

You know, pooh-poohing all the fan stuff really doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. I’m sure every fan-made audio is equally one-star-worthy without downloading, right? I mean, the Audio-Visuals weren’t anything more than fan-made, and clearly aren’t worth listening to at all. Just a bunch of hacks that didn’t know what they were doing, certainly weren’t more skilled by the end of the run than they started…
Oh, what’s that, the guys from the Audio-Visuals went on to start BBV and Big Finish, and do fully-licensed material now? Well, I’ll be. Guess the fan-made stuff has some place after all.
Smythers, don’t let the haters get you down. Some of us out here, while we might not be interested in listening to the fan stuff before we get properly caught up to the Big Finish material, *do* genuinely see you as an asset, what with your constant providing of quality content that NOBODY HERE HAS TO PAY FOR and that you’re giving us out of the goodness of your heart. I’m sure all the nay-sayers would be just as eager to provide the audios that you’re putting out here for us, right?

Hikari I agree with you totally, while most of the fan stuff isn’t up to the same quality as Big Finish people have to remember Big Finish have had 20 years to get as good as they are, Smythers you just keep doing what you do as long as you want to, WE appreciate it.

If for no other reason, the AV stuff was a fascinating insight into the history of Big Finish, especially the plays that Big Finish reused. Who knows, we may be listening to future canonical Who at its inception.

Not my thing, but I am glad others enjoy it. I guess I have gotten used to the BF stuff — love to listen to the older actors. Thank you for your generous downloading of all the Dr Who material.

Thanks very much for uploading the more apocryphal Doctor Who items - it’s always fun to get something outside the mainstream, and hear some wilder tales! Professional studio quality isn’t the be all and end all, or else theatre would have died long before this :)
