2.3 Cold Vengeance
The TARDIS arrives on Coldstar, a vast freezer satellite, packed with supplies to feed a colony world.
But there are cracks in the ice, and something scuttles under the floors. Soon, Rose and the Doctor encounter robots, space pirates and… refuse collectors.
As Coldstar’s tunnels begin to melt, an even greater threat stirs within. An old enemy of the Doctor puts a plan into action - a plan for retribution.

I would be willing to upload the Early Adventures, I think. $10 to share. Why not?
I am not going to complain, Andrew. You are AWESOME for uploading this. But, why didn’t you buy the $25 box set with all the goodies, when these cost on their own $8, which adds up to $24?
Is it your subscription? I’m merely curious. I spend a lot of money on Big Finish. I really wanted the interviews but not enough to pay $25 now that you’ve shared these!
So THANKS! You are awesome! Very AWESOME! But, call me greedy, but I would have loved to hear interviews with David Tennant!
I’ll upload the EA by the end of the month, for all you waiting. I think the EAs suck, and that Frazier Haines doing the voice of a 21 year old boy at 78 is a bit laughable, and that they should simply hire a good voice actor to do the Doctor because Haines can’t do Patrick Troughton, and that the Lost Adventures, a fan made production I’ve uploaded elsewhere, are much better than the 2nd Doctor.
They FINALLY got someone to do the First Doctor’s voice! FINALLY after 25 years. They made the wonderful decision to find someone who sounds like Pertwee for the Third Doctor. So, why do they continue to use Frazier Haines in his over the top Scottish accent, played for laughs back in the 60s, actually? Why does HE voice the Doctor? What is the logic?
He was alive and was a companion of the long-dead Troughton, so for Big Finish that means one of the original cast has to play him, right?
It’s like Matthew Waterhouse trying to do Adric, for God’s sake. Luckily, he’s a good voice actor, so he does sound like someone, though nothing like the annoying voice of his 15 year old self, thank God. I much prefer Waterhouse’s Adric NOW instead of back in the good old days. He now sounds like a young man in his 20s. I don’t hate Adric as much as most people, but I still couldn’t stand him on TV.
I think some of the voice actors have gotten much better with age. Peter Davison sounds like a much older man than he did in Caves of Androzonni, the best Who episode ever, and I loved him back then, and I love him as slightly older. Colin Baker got SO MUCH better with age it is amazing. McCoy still sounds exactly the same now as he did when he was 40. For that matter, so does Tom Baker, lucky bastard. I hope I sound that good at 83!
Tom Baker is 83…wow. They have 4th Doctor adventures planned until 2018. I do hope he lives that long. Big Finish must have the highest average age of any acting company in the world, though.
Katy Manning is sounding her age and admits it. Frazier Haines though…well, that is where this rant began. He sounds TOO old and TOO Scottish!

Thanks SO MUCH FOR THIS, IS ANYONE PLANNING ON GETTING UNIT ENCOUNTERS ON HERE, JUST CAME OUT AND HAVE LOVED THE UNIT STUFF FROM SMYTHERS1977. ALSO,WHY DO THE DOCTOR ONES END UP AS LOTS OF TRACKS WHEN THE UNIT ONES TEND TO BE ALL ONE CHUNK PER EPISODE PART. SORRY FOR THE CAPS LOCK, MY KEYBOARD IS ACTING UP AND REFUSES TO TURN IT OFF.
